So good to have 2 births so close together. I have learnt that a water birth is so gentle for the mum with those strong contractions. Only getting into the pool when you are in active labour. I will certainly recommend a birth pool to any mum. Pushing a baby out is one thing but waiting for the feotal ejection reflex to kick in when you are in the water takes birthing into a different level. A level where your dreams are easily reached and natural oxytocin plays a key role.
