This birth took a long while to begin and Leigh had many moments and days of having to keep trusting her own body. She went up and down, contractions no contractions, painful back then nothing. Walking and keeping her mind and body active was the all she could do! After a long week the day finally dawned and Leigh rested quietly until quite suddenly her contractions were there and regular and strong. Within an hour her midwife was called and her little girl "Eloise" was born into her own hands in the birth pool at her home in Pmb. Well done Leigh on bringing your own baby girl earthside.. Guerilla Midwife would be so proud of you.. you are a brave Warrior!
